In July, the Dunhuang tourism of Gansu Province has rapidly warmed up. The world cultural heritage Mogao Grottoes has experienced a spurt of growth, with more than 10,000 Chinese and foreign tourists. According to the reception data of the Dunhuang Academy, on July 9, Mogao Grottoes received 13,443 Chinese and foreign tourists, an increase of 29.36%.
In response to the peak of Dunhuang tourism in July, the Dunhuang Academy launched the emergency response plan for large tourist flow on July 1st, opened emergency visit routes and sold emergency tickets, which greatly eased the pressure on the reception of Mogao Grottoes. At present, the tourist reception work in the Mogao Grottoes is well-organized, and tourists are well-ordered in the Mogao Grottoes.
