On January 6th, 42 tons of red table grapes, under the supervision of Dunhuang Airport Customs under Lanzhou Customs, set off from Shekou Port for Iraq. This is the first time that fresh grapes from Dunhuang have been exported to Iraq.
"The smooth shipment of this batch of fresh grapes is attributed to the green channel opened by the customs for local characteristic agricultural products," said Zhao Xin, business manager of Jinsuiyuan Fruit Industry Co., Ltd. "Since the green channel was opened, we have enjoyed 'one-stop' processing and appointment-based customs clearance services in the declaration, inspection and certification stages. The time and cost of logistics transportation have been significantly reduced, and the customs clearance process has become more convenient and efficient."
To promote the export business of enterprises, Lanzhou Customs has continuously enhanced its regulatory efficiency and service level. It has implemented online processing for the registration applications of orchards and packaging plants for fruits exported from the country. Through various measures such as online guidance, offline training, and in-depth research visits to enterprises, it has guided enterprises to standardize their internal management and ensure product quality control. It has also opened up green channels for declaration and local inspection for enterprises, provided 7×24-hour consultation and customs clearance services, and helped enterprises explore diversified international markets and expand their export scale.
In 2024, the volume of fresh fruits exported under the supervision of Dunhuang Airport Customs has exceeded 20,000 tons, with a significant year-on-year increase.
