Yes, it is sincerely suggested to purchase travel insurance before vacationing in China. Some might think that the personal insurance has everything covered and thus no need for the travel insurance. However, one might come across unexpected troubles, such as injury, illness etc, during the trip in China, and a tiny investment in the travel insurance will be of great help in these cases. Most of the travel insurance policies cover trip cost cancellation and interruption, emergency medical transport and medical expenses etc. Please do carefully read the policy, noting any deductibles, exceptions and exemptions for pre-existing conditions, diseases or areas of the world.
Yes, you can. According to the regulations of General Administration of China Customs, passengers carrying a sum of no more than 20,000 RMB need not to declare at the customs while declaration is strictly demanded for those with over 20,000 RMB. For people who decided to travel to Xinjiang, please note that you may face repetitious and tedious security checks after you enter Xinjiang. It dose not mean Xinjiang is unsafe. Local government had made tremendous efforts to ensure 100% safety for all travelers to Xinjiang. So you don’t need to worry about safety, please be patient and cooperative if you are asked to show your passport or answer any questions. Local guides and drivers will try to make the process smooth and fast, but any behavior that does not match inspection may delay your travel.
For all regular tours, if you cancel your tour, more than 90 days before departure, you will get a full refund of all your payments. After that, the refund depends on the date of cancellation. If you have any question about the refund, please contact our travel agents.
If you book a package tour with us, we are providing you the Travel Agencies' Liability Insurance, regulated by Nations Tourism Administration of China (CNTA). We strongly recommend you to buy one by yourself in your country.

Your tour is a private tour! Your individual guide will meet you at the airport / train station upon your arrival, showing you around, till seeing you off at the airport / or train station for your next destination. Taking the train in China can be a very interesting experience and a good alternative to the airplane. The train tickets are divided into four categories, namely, soft-sleeper, hard-sleeper, soft-seater, and hard-seater. Each carriage has two washrooms at both of its ends including a Chinese-style toilet (you better bring your own toilet paper).
If you have a soft-sleeper ticket you can stay in a comfortable four beds compartment. In there, there are 2 lower soft berths, 2 upper soft berths and a small table. Meals and drinks can be purchased in the train's restaurant carriage located directly next to the soft sleeper carriage.
We only book soft sleeper tickets for our customers if a flight is not available or on special request (for example if you are afraid of flying). Although traveling by train seams to be harder than by airplane, it offers you many chances to make acquaintance with some Chinese people.
